The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, Langtang North Battalion Council, on Sunday, August 31, 2025, held its General Inspection and Investiture Ceremony at the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) Regional Church Council Headquarters, Kuffen, Langtang North.

At the colourful occasion, Chief Ambassador Nanyah Andrew Daman (JP, anipr, Jarumin Jat) was officially decorated as Patron of the Battalion, a recognition of his longstanding service to the community and unwavering commitment to Christian values.

In his acceptance remarks, Chief Amb. Daman expressed gratitude to God Almighty and to the Boys’ Brigade Langtang North Battalion Council for the confidence reposed in him.

> “It is with utmost joy that we thank the Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, Langtang North Battalion Council, for the confidence reposed in us by this investiture as Patron. Our deepest appreciation goes to the Executive Chairman of Langtang North Local Government Council, Hon. Pirfa Jingfa Tyem, our esteemed Patroness, Mrs. Manko Ayuba Nandang, as well as the Captains, Chaplains, Reviewing Officers, supporters and well-wishers who have stood firm in encouraging the Boys’ Brigade,” he stated.



He further offered prayers for divine blessings upon all who have supported the Brigade’s mission of molding disciplined, God-fearing young men and women, adding: “It is our fervent prayer that our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth bless us all.”

The event marked the conclusion of the Battalion’s General Inspection, which drew chaplains, captains of various companies, community leaders, supporters and well-wishers who witnessed the installation of Chief Amb. Daman into his new role.

With this investiture, he is expected to play a critical role in strengthening the Brigade’s activities in Langtang North.
